Duties * Develops, constructs, tests, maintains, and synchronizes a data architecture for the organization individually or as part of a team. * Provides project leads with data recommendations that conform to the organization's existing and planned data architecture, meets users requirements, and meets DoD regulations and policies. * Works as the recognized data authority as part of existing or ad hoc teams to develop data requirements and recommended solutions for new and emerging analysis models and projects. Requirements Conditions of Employment * Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. * Must be able to obtain and maintain an appropriate Top Secret clearance. * Drug Tests is required. * Must be able to perform business related travel up to 10% of the time. * Must be able to receive inoculations IAW DoD requirements for travel to specific countries. * Must be able to travel using military transportation or non-commercial means of travel. * Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid state-issued driver's license. * Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Forces Certificate of License. Additional information about transcripts is in this document . Basic Requirements: Degree: Mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science or field directly related to the position. The degree must be in a major field of study (at least at the baccalaureate level) that is appropriate for the position. or Combination of education and experience: Courses equivalent to a major field of study (30 semester hours) as shown in paragraph A above, plus additional education or appropriate experience. In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: Specialized Experience: Specialized experience is defined as: applying operational research or system analysis principles for analysis of facilitating data development lifecycle and design; utilize mathematical and/or statistical models for analysis of data used to support assigned projects; providing recommendations to improve the efficiency of data tracking or collection methods. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: * Database Administration

* Technical/Product Data Management Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
