Duties * Manages a wide range of issues concerning Classified and Unclassified information for the organization. * Serve as a Security Specialist for the US Army DEVCOM Armaments Center Foreign Disclosure program. * Advises organizational leadership and staff by providing interpretations of National Disclosure Policy (NDP-1) as it applies the organization's mission and implementation of international agreements in cooperation and foreign officer assignment. * Develops and maintains a continuing foreign disclosure program requiring coordination within the organization and others in the intelligence and disclosure communities. * Serves as the lead for requests for classified foreign visits and briefing requests. * Develops and briefs presentations and policy documents for organizational procedures for disclosure of unclassified and classified military information to foreign governments and international organizations. Requirements Conditions of Employment * Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. * You must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance. * Moving expenses are not authorized for this position. * Three-year trial/probationary period may be required. * The duties of this position meet the criteria for compliance with Federal and Department of the Army Drug Free Workplace Programs. Specialized experience is defined as at least one year performing ALL of the following duties at the next lower grade level (DE-02/GS 11): 1) Providing recommendations to headquarters on current foreign disclosure policies and the impact on the organization's mission; 2) Develops National Disclosure policy guidance for program protection plans, security cooperation cases, and fielding of all organizational products in support of acquisition efforts with foreign partners; and 3) Minimize damage caused by incidents by accurately reviewing incident reports of misconduct, reporting misconduct as required and support formal investigations of misconduct to maintain the integrity of the National Disclosure program. If this coordination is not completed and the action is affected the employee will return to the permanent position of record upon expiration of the temporary assignment. If the temporary assignment is extended by the gaining organization, additional coordination must be completed with the losing activity.
