Software Developer with Security Clearance

Description SAIC is seeking a Software Developer to join our team in Huntsville, AL. The Aviation Systems Integration Lab (AVNSIL) located within Software, Simulation, Systems, Engineering and Integration Directorate (S3I) on Redstone Arsenal is seeking a software engineer to become an integral member of our team. The successful candidate will work closely with others to develop aircraft simulation and stimulation solutions to serve a variety of customer needs. This position requires a self-starter, willingness to learn, excellent communication skills, and strong dedication to mission. Qualifications Education Requirements: * Bachelors degree and five (5) years experience; Additional four (4) years experience can be accepted in lieu of degree. Clearance Requirements: * Must possess an active Secret security clearance or have the ability to obtain one prior to start; US Citizenship required. Required Skills: * Proficient in the C++ programming language * Perform software maintenance and minor upgrades to address user concerns * Perform testing and debugging ahead of software release to ensure no interruption to operations * Provide support, troubleshooting, and training to end users as necessary in use of system * Ability to document code and work in agile environment Desired Skills * Familiarity with LabVIEW, Visual Studio, JIRA, and/or Git * Familiarity with C# programming languages * Experience working with MIL-STD-1553 and ARINC 429 * Experience in aircraft simulation, avionics and real time programming. * Experience working with the UH-60, CH-47, and/or AH-64 rotary wing aircraft platform systems is highly desired. * Experience with SPIRENT systems * Experience working with OTW image generation systems; ie Rocket IG * Experience with Crusader or Flightlab SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
