Lead Software Developer - Entity Management with Security Clearance

Our Client, a government technology integrator is in need of a lead software developer for a contract to hire position. Working onsite, the lead developer will be responsible for designing and maintainingentitymanagement systems that extract entities, determine relationships, normalize data, and index data across multiple, disparate datasets with the DOJs Fusion Center. Required Skills: * Minimum of an active Secret security clearance * At least 10 years of previous experience as a software developer, including as the lead developer on at least three major software projects designing and maintaining entity management systems that extract entities, determine relationships, normalize data, and index data across multiple, disparate datasets. * C# and Java experience, strongly preferred * Demonstrated experience on at least 2 major projects designing and maintaining an intuitive, powerful front end to quickly search and match data and attributes across large structured and unstructured databases with an intuitive graphical user interface. * Experience addressing performance and scalability issues related to large data sets. Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelors degree from an accredited university. * Experience with any of the following is strongly desired: XML, Python, R and other statistical and data analysis platforms, jQuery, rich web interface frameworks such as Bootstrap and Angular, and application programming interfaces (APIs) to include web services such as SOAP and REST * Experience supporting federal law enforcement customers or DOJ agencies.
