SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST with Security Clearance

Duties As a SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, GS-2003-09, you will serve as a Supply Management Specialist in a developmental capacity. This is a developmental position leading to the next position of a Supply Management Specialist, GS-2003-9. Duties and responsibilities of the position are essentially the same as that of the full-performance PD with the exception of additional training, supervision, guidance, and direction necessary until incumbent attains the full-performance level of experience. As level of knowledge and experience increases, level of supervision will decrease accordingly. Incumbent may be promoted to next higher grade without further competition after completion of minimum TIG (Time-in-Grade) requirement, completion of all training as indicated by manager, with recommendation of the supervisor, provided the full-performance position remains as a valid position. Difference in factor levels are provided below. Requirements Conditions of Employment * NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED. Qualifications Military Grades: Enlisted GENERAL EXPERIENCE : Experience, education, or training which has provided the applicant with a general knowledge of one or more aspects of the supply field. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 1-year specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade. Experience analyzing, developing, evaluating to improve supply programs, policies, procedures, techniques, etc. Experience involving the control of supply stocks and accounting for equipment. Knowledge of supply functions, cataloging, maintenance, and disposal procedures. Experience in cost estimates, budgets, or funding management. Experience conducting extensive searches for required information; reconstruct records for complex supply transactions; and/or provide supply operations support. Experience requiring person-to-person contacts to convey information and ability to compile reports, letters, memoranda, etc. Education If you are using Education to qualify for this position, master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree You must provide OFFICIAL transcripts or other documentation to support your Educational claims.
