Budget Analyst with Security Clearance

Savvee Inc. is seeking to hire a Budget Analyst to support our federal Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) onsite at the client's location in Quantico, VA. Candidates should have some experience in budgeting and financial analysis as well as excellent communication and customer service skills. Candidates must already have an active DoD secret clearance, Essential Functions - Supporting the Department of Navy IT procurement budget, planning, execution - Tracking spend plans and IT expenditures - Supporting the client's Program Objective Memorandum (POM) budgeting metrics - Providing cost analysis and research to help with informed decision making - Participating in financial data calls - Updating financial management trackers - Supporting financial management reviews and financial data calls - Composing IT procurement packages and invoices using Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) - Supporting hardware and software maintenance renewals - Liaising with various teams including, Portfolio Management, Enterprise Architecture, Capital Planning - Investment Control (CPIC), and Comptroller - Liaison with the IT asset management team for new procurements - Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for the accuracy of solutions and deliverables to client - Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support Required Education & Training - Bachelor's degree Minimum Experience & Skills - Three or more years of budget execution and formulation experience - Must have the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance - Experience with POM - Outstanding customer service skills - Acute attention to detail - Proficient in Microsoft Office products - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Proven self-starter Desired Education/Certifications & Skills - Currently holds an ACTIVE DoD Secret clearance - Navy ERP experience - Knowledge of IT hardware and software
