SECURITY SPECIALIST (UNIT DEPLOYMENT MANAGER) (Title 32) with Security Clearance

Duties As a Security Specialist, GS-0080-9, you will: This position is located in an Air National Guard Wing, Mission Support Group, Security Forces (SF) Squadron. The primary purpose of this position is to manage deployment and logistical assets to ensure productive and effective utilization of materiel funding and requirements for all Security Forces tasks and responsibilities. Requirements Conditions of Employment * National Guard Membership is required. * Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service. * Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation. * May be required to successfully complete a probationary period. * DOD Security Fundamentals Professional Cert, Special Program Security Cert, and Security Asset Protection Professional Cert conferrals are required within 2 years of the established employee EOD or initial assignment date to this position. * This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position. * Irregular and/or overtime (compensatory) hours may be required to support operational requirements or contingencies or may be required to work hours outside of the normal duty day. * Participation in direct deposit is mandatory. Qualifications NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED: This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the National Guard. Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform. Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment. MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Open to SSgt up to MSgt. AFSC requirement: Security Forces 3P0, Intel lN0, Maintenance 2AX/2WX, Command Post 1C3, or Aviation Resource Management 1C0. The military grade of the full-time supervisor must equal or exceed the military grade of personnel supervised. You may qualify based on your experience and/or education as described below: Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-7 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Experience in the competencies/KSAs listed below. (Experience must be documented in your resume) OR, Education: Applicants may substitute education for the required experience. To qualify based on education for this grade level you must have a master's or equivalent graduate degree or two full academic years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree related to the position. You must have a combination of specialized experience and education.
