Help Duties * You will serve as the senior civilian employee at the Public Works Department (PWD) responsible for the delivery of a full spectrum of public works services to the installation and supported commands to enable mission success. * You will direct, control and coordinate all operations within the Public Works Department using broad knowledge in facilities management, technical, financial and administrative skills. * You will formulate and monitor PWD budget requirements taking into account workload forecasts, payroll requirements, travel, training and other overhead requirements. * You will direct Public Works Department subordinate supervisors, evaluate performance and hear grievances or complaints not resolved at lower levels of the department. * You will review disciplinary actions and interact with union official in accordance with negotiated bargaining unit agreements. * You will maintain liaison with senior level leaders throughout the installation and NAVFAC. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. * Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
