Duties * Complete tasks that support the day-to-day operations associated with planning and execution of the Cadet Summer Training (CST) Human Resources mission. * Serve as a Plans and Operations Specialist in the organizations G1, CST S1 Division. * Perform assigned self-contained projects or portions of projects pertaining to G1 initiatives. * Responsible for the full scope of projects, assignments, questions, and issues pertaining to Cadet Summer Training (CST) plans and operations. * Support Cadet Summer Training (CST) based on guidance from supervisors. Requirements Conditions of Employment * Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. * Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. * Temporary Duty (TDY), approximately 10% of the time. * This position requires incumbent to work weekends in support of training and briefing to Command and Staff. * May be required to complete a one year trial period. In order to qualify for the GS-09 grade level, applicants must possess one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07). Specialized experience is defined as: which includes work that involves prioritizing, coordinating, and integrating internal and external short and long term tasks, missions, and projects Command-wide; as well as calendar management, training management; operational plans and orders; anti-terrorism and force protection programs; and command-level ceremonies and special events.
