Description:
The Red Gate Group is seeking a CCAS Spreadsheet and Analysis Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the a Program Office under the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSD (A&S)) in Ft Belvoir, VA. This program offers a flexible alternative to the traditional GS personnel system, empowering innovative personnel management strategies across the Department of Defense. Key Responsibilities: -Develop, maintain, and improve complex Excel spreadsheets using Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) to support compensation management and data analysis. -Support government pay transaction processing, ensuring compliance with applicable policies and personnel systems.
-Consult with internal stakeholders to provide customer support for compensation tools. -Conduct data analysis to provide actionable insights that enhance personnel management strategies under alternative personnel systems. Required Qualifications Must be US Citizen
Bachelors degree in IT or a related field such as Business Information Systems or Information Systems degree) (10 years of relevant work experience may substitute for the degree requirement).
Five or more years of experience supporting compensation management computations, government pay transaction processing, and/or data analysis for demonstration or alternate personnel systems within the Federal Government.
Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) experience to support complex excel spreadsheet macros.
Extensive knowledge of SAS Desired Qualifications Experience with demonstration or alternative personnel systems
Understanding of federal personnel operations, policies, and processes
