Help Duties * You will ensure all material required for repair and alternation of ships are ordered, expedited, reviewed and inspected to support production schedules. * You will support the execution of logistics of material, tools, and consumable handling from job planning to execution. * You will assist with the development and execution of the planning and coordination of complex material management plans for assigned projects. * You will coordinate material from Department of Logistics Agency (DLA) and Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS). * You will evaluate the efficiency of shipyard material management and supply programs to support shipyard workload. * You will study and evaluate customer requirements, acquisition lead times, storage, inventory, and delivery. * You will develop, coordinate, evaluating, and execute various aspects of Material Movement in support of customer shipments. You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs. * This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. * This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning, coordinating and executing material management plans and projects to support shipyard material management and supply programs. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: developing and preparing supply project plans to ensure material requirements are met in support of the execution of shipyard material management and supply programs.
