Duties You will perform and lead a group performing all kinds of ordnance equipment tasks involved in the construction, repair, maintenance, overhaul and conversion of a wide variety of types and sizes of marine craft and vessels in connection with miscellaneous manufacturing projects performed at the Yard. Typical duties include: * Installing, overhauling, modifying, testing, aligning and repairing defective mechanical, electrical, electronic and hydraulic elements of ordnance equipment such as MK75 Gun Weapon System, MK38 Machine Gun System, and MK92 Fire Control Systems, M110 57 mm (CIWS) Gun and loading system and Decoy Launching Systems. * Maintaining, repairing, troubleshooting and modifying weapon systems, test equipment and constructs special mechanical, hydraulic, electrical units and fixtures. * Performing installation and test of system components at various locations. * Performing FATS (Factory Acceptance Tests). * Performing ORDALTS on equipment and BORESIGHT and STARGATE inspections on gun barrels. * Performing modifications and adjustments on non firing and non pointing systems on the MK75 gun mounts. * Traveling to Coast Guard vessel locations and Foreign Military support work locations.
