ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Nuclear Alpha Contracting Integration Manager to join our team in Newport News, VA. This is an onsite position. This position provides nuclear refueling and complex overhaul (RCOH) ALPHA acquisition and support services to the SUPSHIP Newport News RCOH Planning Team, the SUPSHIP Newport News RCOH Maintenance Planning Manager (MPM) and NAVSEA. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Engage in support to NAVSEA in all contract negotiations and Technical Instructions Meetings as required
* Attend Level 2 IPT meetings to ensure that the ALPHA Acquisition principles and Government perspective on technical and programmatic issues are conveyed accurately and consistently among the IPTs
* Participate in CVN RCOH Planning and Execution contract development, proposal review and negotiations
* Review various cost and pricing information as well as Exceptions and Clarifications, Terms and Conditions and Basis of Estimates
* Responsible for the development and maintenance of the CVN RCOH Nuclear Refueling portion of the ALPHA Acquisition Cost Model
* Assist in the review of shipbuilder provided data for periodic RCOH advanced planning technical instruction reconciliations and provide analysis and recommendations to the SUPSHIPNN Project Team and NAVSEA
* Support the Nuclear Systems Functional Area Planner (FAP) as needed during times of peak Cost Data Sheet Delivery and Mutual agreement and other times as directed by the Government Project Team Minimum Qualifications: * High School Diploma or GED equivalent
* 10+ years of experience with CVN nuclear systems Preferred Qualifications: * Former US Navy Chief Petty Officer, Chief Warrant Officer, or Limited Duty Officer Clearance Requirements: * U.S. Citizenship required and an active or current Secret Security Clearance Physical Requirements: * The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
* Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
