Senior Missile Defense System (MDS) Analyst We're looking for a Senior MDS Analyst to join our team! In this role, you'll help shape the future of missile defense by defining and evaluating the Missile Defense System (MDS) capability trade space, architectural performance metrics, and high-level performance factors. Your work will directly impact system development, ensuring mission readiness and effectiveness. What You'll Do: Conduct and document MDS architecture trade studies as part of the Architecture Design Team. Support the development of key engineering artifacts, including Initial Requirements Documents and Architecture Requirements Packages. Develop alternative architecture concepts to address capability gaps, real-world threats, and intelligence community estimates. Lead the development of architecture requirements, strategies, and analyses to support Service and Combatant Command (CCMD) needs. Coordinate MDA vision and strategies to support the Warfighter, working with DoD, Joint Staff, Services, CCMDs, Intelligence Community (IC), Other Government Agencies (OGA), national labs, industry partners, and international stakeholders. Define trade study methodologies, performance measures, and deliverables for the Architecture Design Team. Develop and deliver briefings on trade study findings, and review work products from other team members. Align future technology requirements across MDA, DoD, Joint Staff, Services, IC, and OGAs. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective coordination of trade study activities and work products. What You Bring: Master's degree and 12+ years of relevant experience OR Bachelor's degree and 20+ years of relevant experience. Active Secret clearance. Strong understanding of DoD and MDA processes and procedures. In-depth knowledge of the Missile Defense System (MDS), including Command and Control networks. Ability to work independently with minimal guidance while driving results. Bonus Skills (Nice to Have): Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Military experience preferred, especially a Navy veteran with experience as an Aegis Weapon System EDO or Joint Interface Control Officer. Alternatively, Army or Air Force experience with an understanding of MDS elements such as THAAD, LTAMDS, Sentinel, PATRIOT, or GMD. Deep technical understanding of MDS architecture beyond traditional systems engineering.
