Description:
RiverTech is seeking a dynamic self-starter and detail-oriented Foreign Disclosure Specialist to support the Joint Staff Security Office (JSSO) and the Joint Staff Foreign Disclosure Officer (FDO) in applying DIA, DoD and Joint Staff (JS) security policy, procedures, systems, and programs in the functional area of foreign disclosure processing for the purpose of validating disclosure requirements. Responsibilities * Reviews foreign disclosure release requests in support of Joint Directorate requirements, disclosure support to the foreign visits approval process and foreign visit staff as well as disclosure support to the JS National Disclosure Policy Committee (NDPC) requirements.
* Conducts foreign release reviews and identifies the guidelines under which information sharing is governed, applying correct release markings, and coordinates with the product originators as necessary prior to release.
* Maintains the JS policy CJCSM 5230.01, JS Foreign Disclosure and Foreign Visits Programs, is current with national policy and procedures.
* Completes staffing of disclosure team actions in the Joint Staff Action Processing (JSAP) system, initiates package, prepares comments for resolution, updates documents to reflect comment resolution, and submits a final version for government approval.
* Maintains a National Disclosure Policy System (NDPS) account and reviews NDPS daily; sends requests to appropriate JS POCs; process responses; track status and enter information in the NDPS and appropriate databases; upload JS responses to NDPS; prepare and forward periodic foreign disclosure reports to directorates and the JS Foreign Disclosure Officer (FDO) staff as requested.
* Drafts, edits, staffs, and prepares response memorandums, approval templates and delegate disclosure letters for the JS Foreign Disclosure Officer. Tracks, manages, and files all support documents (MOA, MOU, DDL, approvals, memos etc.) for each JS Foreign Disclosure action.
* Advises the JS FDO on foreign visit issues, maintain Foreign Disclosure SOPs and JS publications. Qualifications * High School Diploma/GED.
* Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Foreign Disclosure.
* TS Clearance with SCI eligibility.
* Excellent written and oral communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Desired Qualifications: * Experience in foreign disclosure activities across all categories of Classified Military Information (CMI) is highly desired. Completion of foreign disclosure training or experience in security cooperation or support to foreign military sales process is highly desired.
