Job Number: R0216017 Daytime Network Operations Security Center Lead Key Role: Leads the team to provide monitoring and operational visibility in a 24 / 7 Network Operations Security Center . Lead the team that supports the monitoring, network administration, and maintenance operations. Provides operational visibility across all networks and coordinates responses and resolutions for network incidents to ensure the smooth running of the network operation. Applies leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts, and contributes to the development of new principles and concepts. Works on unusually complex problems and provides highly innovative solutions. Operates with substantial latitude for action or decision and mentors or supervises employees in both company and technical competencies. Basic Qualifications: * 8+ years of experience as a network operations engineer
* Experience with incident response handling, triage and response coordination, and the management and operational use of systems monitoring tools, including SolarWinds, Splunk, and Grafana
* Experience integrating data across different systems and departments break down information silos and provide operational visibility
* Experience implementing automated response and workflows to enhance responsiveness and operational visibility
* Experience leading 24 / 7 network operations and supervising network operations staff, and briefing government leadership and stakeholders on the status of Network Operations and ongoing IT operations
* Knowledge of network technologies and vulnerability management, including scanning, patching, and remediation
* Ability to create and maintain documentation for network operations practices
* TS / SCI clearance
* Bachelor's degree
* DoD 8570 Compliant IAT level II certification Additional Qualifications: * Experience with data and trend analyses to identify areas of process improvement, technical deficiencies, capacity management, and areas of opportunity
* Knowledge of ITIL change management and problem management best practices
* Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
