Help Duties * You will assist in the development of contractually acceptable specifications, work statements, and quality assurance criteria. * You will develop the procurement plan considering a wide variety of pertinent issues. * You will determine the responsibility of the contractor using evaluations requested of authorized experts and/or based on other records. * You will perform price or cost analyses. Qualifications In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assisting in the development of contractually acceptable specifications, work statements, and quality assurance criteria; 2) Determining the responsibility of the contractor using evaluations requested of authorized experts and/or based on other records; 3) Performing price or cost analyses; 4) Assisting the chief negotiator as required, such as the performance of analysis or fact-finding under extremely tight deadlines; 5) Preparing recommendations with all supporting documentation for resolution of contractor protests.
