As the Division Head of the Financial Management Division within the N4 Department, you will direct the workflow and perform complex financial analysis utilizing a wide range of concepts, principles, and practices in financial management. Help Duties * You will report directly to the Comptroller and may serve as acting Comptroller in their absence. * You will perform complex financial analysis and provide recommended courses of action to senior leadership. * You will be responsible for the day to day financial integrity of the command's Standard Accounting, Budgeting, and Reporting System (SABRS) and Command Financial Management System (CFMS). * You will be responsible for the command's timekeeping/payroll requirements in the Standard Labor Data Collection and Distribution Application (SLDCADA) and Defense Civilian Payroll System (DCPS). * You will direct the workflow, guide employees in the application of established procedures, assign new or additional work when required, train new employees, develop performance appraisals, and initiate personnel actions. * You will present monthly budget briefs to the Commanding Officer and Comptroller and develop reports as necessary to provide leadership with the appropriate financial information to make informed budgeting and execution decisions. * You will develop the command's response to external financial data calls from headquarters and other higher level organizations. This certification level must be achieved within prescribed timelines. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector, such as: 1. Perform complex financial analysis to provide recommended courses of action to senior leadership.
2. Formulate, develop, maintain, and submit the budget to the Comptroller for review and prepare/present monthly budget briefs to senior leadership.
3. Manage the organization's timekeeping and payroll requirements.
4. Direct the workflow, guide employees, assign work, train new employees, develop performance appraisals, and initiate personnel actions.
