Help Duties * You will manage the Office of Government Ethics (OGE) annual financial disclosure statement program, including conducting preliminary screening of OGE 450 form and OGE 278 form filings. * You will provide or coordinate training of headquarters staff and monitor and assist similar educational efforts at subordinate commands to ensure compliance. * You will serve as the Ethics Program Manager, staying up-to-date on constantly changing government ethics regulations, including annual guidance. * You will design and implement staff procedures for ensuring ethics reviews are conducted for all matters requiring review. * You will provide technical and substantive legal advice on the processing of cases, including criminal investigations, Non-Judicial Punishment (NJP) matters, and court-martial cases. * You will assist with pre-trial matters such as drafting convening orders, locating members for courts-martial, completing charge sheets and requesting legal services. * You will provide swift independent guidance and legal advice to commands on administrative separation matters. * You will serve as the Freedom of Information Act and Privacy Act Coordinator, processing all public requests for official Department of the Navy documents and information. * You will ensure the accurate and timely completion of investigations, including the analysis of investigation results. * You will provide extensive, detailed legal research services and develop and justify recommendations for agency action on legal issues. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing and evaluating pertinent facts and evidence, applying laws, rules, regulations, and precedents, and performing extensive legal research to recommend and justify legal action for the accurate and timely completion of investigations.
