Overview of position: FEDITC is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist, II to work in Aurora, Colorado. A United States Citizenship and an active Public Trust Security Clearance is required to be considered for this position. Salary: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00 Start date will be on April 01, 2025. Responsibilities: Configuration Management Specialist - Level II is responsible for the daily operations of the configuration control management planning. Assists and reviews identification of configurable items, change and status accounting, and configuration verification of configuration items. This position is also responsible for defining responsibilities as it relates to the configurable items. This position also assists with the operation of the program support library. Administers day-to-day sustainment, integrity, security, and availability of the network; perform daily performance monitoring and capacity analysis; and maintains the security posture of the network. Provide asset and inventory management support services for all JBSA site assets (hardware, software) and peripherals managed by enterprise services (to include software license management and warranties)
Use the Government provided asset management and accounting software, including but not limited to DMLSS and MHS ServiceNow, for managing all IT assets at all supported sites
Monitors the acquisition, storage, utilization, transfer, and disposal of property from the Asset Team
Fully supports the Area Property Officer (APO) in the property management functions and serve as a liaison between the APO and Asset Team
Ensures that property assigned to a unit or organization is properly inventoried; performs a joint physical inventory
Maintains physical inventory plans and procedures, schedules physical inventories, and assists in their completion
Directs an effective asset management process, to include property accountability, inventory, utilization and reutilization, care, and disposition of property and rehabilitation within DHA
Maintain detailed asset inventory accounting reports that include at a minimum the Inventory turnover rates, Asset tracking, Excess turn-in/disposition, Asset stockage levels, Ninety (90) day maintenance termination notification reports
Work with the Asset Team Defense Reutilization and Marketing Offices (DRMO) for all Turn-ins follow DRMO protocols Education: Must have a bachelors degree and/or equivalent. Certifications: IAM II Clearance: Public Trust Clearance is required.
Must be a US Citizen and pass a background check.
Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITCS Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s). Benefits: Medical
