DMSMS Obsolescence Analyst with Security Clearance

Description:
ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS), Obsolescence Analyst to join our team in the Lexington Park, MD. This is an onsite position. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Compile data inputs (material demand data, contract data reports such as the Material Health Assessments, Material Obsolescence Forecasting, Critical Item Management Plan, Material Requirements and Obsolescence Mitigation planning) from contractors and suppliers on a recurring basis, and provide in-depth, actionable analysis of collected data in areas such as material obsolescence risks and mitigation.
* Monitor & assess the performance of DMSMS/Obsolescence management to include evaluation on contractor recommended obsolescence mitigations.
* Work both independently and with various functional disciplines within and outside of the Program Office.
* Provide visibility into material obsolescence risks to the DoD, Navy, NAVAIR, PEOs, programs, NAVAIR competencies and business units.
* Develop and deliver cost, schedule and technical analytics for DMSMS/Obsolescence related documentation that are part of the acquisition lifecycle.
* 25% travel is required. Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in Math, Science, Statistics, Business, Management, or Engineering and 4+ years of experience with analyzing contactor bills of material and other material management related acquisition lifecycle documentation OR Associate's degree may be substituted with 8+ years of relevant experience OR, High School Diploma may be substituted with 10+ years of relevant experience
* Experience using MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Word)
* Experience with supply chain operations, logistics, and/or manufacturing Preferred Qualifications: * Master's degree in relevant fields
* Knowledge and familiarity with government acquisition processes
* Knowledge and familiarity with supply chain operations in a military acquisition environment Clearance Requirements: * Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance to start. Physical Requirements: * Tasking is primarily computer based.
* The person in this position must be able to operate and perform tasking on a PC.
* Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers, customers, and management through email, phone, and other virtual communication methods (e.g. Zoom, TEAMS).
